MODERATE POWER PROJECT
The Moderate Power Project (MPP) is Third Way’s bold initiative to champion moderate voices, empower the next generation of center-left leaders, and reclaim control of our politics. MPP’s five dynamic programs build muscle in the middle—to reinvigorate America’s vital center, defeat extremism, and offer the forward-looking ideas this country urgently needs.
OUR MISSION
The Moderate Power Project is building a megaphone for moderates. We amplify center-left views and voices to challenge the far left, push back against the MAGA right movement, and govern effectively from the middle.

Championing moderate leaders and ideas across the range of traditional and new media platforms that shape public discourse
TALENT PIPELINE
Finding and helping place moderates in key political and policy roles
VENTURE FUND
Providing catalytic grants to ambitious, entrepreneurial projects to expand and fill key gaps in the center-left ecosystem
